lontanoは、
世界が唯一反転する、
夕暮れから夜明けの時間をテーマにした作品。
人生における夜は、
光で覆い尽くされ、
見えるものが全てとされる昼の世界と異なり、
見えないからこそ、
見えないものに思いを馳せることができる貴重な時間である。
闇の中で、
目を凝らし続けることで気づくことのできる小さな光の美しさ、
目を閉じ耳を澄ますと聞こえてくる静寂の心地よさ、
それらは人生を構成するに欠かせない、
我々の内省的な成長を促す時間であると考え、
このイメージを作品に投影した。
This installation expresses how the world is from dusk to dawn and shows the distinct difference from daytime. I thought about the “night” in life. Unlike the daytime world, where everything is covered with light and all that can be seen is considered real, the night is a precious time that allows us to contemplate the invisible. We may think about what we cannot see because we cannot see it. In the darkness, we can recognize the beauty of a tiny light by keeping our eyes fixed on it. Compared with the busyness and noise that surrounds us during the day, the night provides us with a comforting silence that we hear when we close our eyes and listen carefully. These are an essential part of life.
