Weaving invisible time through light and sound.

Concept

Year 2025

For more than a thousand years, Nakaragi Shrine has stood together with the Nakaragi forest. Enshrined here is the deity of weaving, revered since ancient times. The sound of wind crossing the forest, the rustle of leaves, the faint vibrations given off by the plants.

This work raises a space where the memory of that “invisible weaving”—which has echoed through this land across a long span of time—melts into one through layers of light and sound. Within these woven layers of time, prayer, light, and plants begin to resonate together.
